When you are Scott Reynolds and you have fronted one of the greatest punk bands on the planet, Al, as well as incredible groups like Goodbye Harry and the Pavers, what is there left to do? That is a good question and fortunately, we have the answer. Scott Reynolds latest project, the Steaming Beast, is a natural progression of his past outlets. "Adventure Boy" finds Scott working with multi-instrumentalist Dave Fridmann and Steven Drozd from The Flaming Lips, which sounds a lot like you imagine it might. Add to the mix guest appearances by Drag The River and various members of Pavers and Bonesaw Romance and you get a truly magnificent, rounded album.

Scott Reynolds first came to prominence as the singer in US pop-punk legends All (Descendents without Milo), replacing Dave Smalley in 1989 and writing and recording arguably the bands finest material ("Allroys Revenge", "Allroy Saves" and "Percolater") until leaving in 1993. At this point Scott started a band called Goodbye Harry who made two albums, which was then followed by The Pavers, who recorded albums for O&O and Boss Tuneage. "Livin The Dream" is a staggering 22 track compilation, selected by Scott himself, of the finest moments of his musical endeavours since leaving All, featuring tracks from across the Goodbye Harry and Pavers back catalogue, as well as three brand new previously unreleased tracks.
